ST. ROSE SCHOOL

St. Rose School is a parish elementary school for students in preschool through eighth grade. St. Rose offers a standard academic curriculum with Physical Education, Music, Library, and Computer classes offered by specially certified teachers. See our enclosed brochures.

PARENTS ASSOCIATION

All parents who enroll their children in St. Rose School are members. The association provides services to support the school and its programs.

ELEMENTARY, JUNIOR HIGH AND SENIOR HIGH EVENING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Catechists provide teaching in doctrine, scripture, sacraments, and prayer for children who do not attend the parish school. Training is offered for those interested in becoming catechists.

YOUTH AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COUNCIL

An ongoing group which can advise the pastor and others relative to the youth ministry and religious education programming of the parish.

SUNDAY PRESCHOOL RELIGION

Classes are held Sundays during the 10:30 a.m. Mass, for children ages three through kindergarten. Provides children with an exposure to religious themes on a level equal to their understanding, through Bible stories, songs, prayer and crafts. Adult volunteers staff this program.

RCIA (RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS)

Team members and candidates meet weekly from September through May to study Catholic doctrine, scripture, and prayer. Team members prepare candidates wishing to join the Church for  the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. All parishioners are invited to become team members.

ENGAGED COUPLES CONFERENCE

Three married couples volunteer to spend a day with engaged couples. The married couples share their experiences in the most difficult areas of marriage: sex, communications and finances.

All engaged couples must attend the conference prior to being married in the Church. The conferences are held four times a year.

 ST. ROSE PRESCHOOL

An educational and play opportunity for 3 and 4 year- olds during the school year.  The tuition-based program is designed to promote a healthy, happy child in a Catholic atmosphere.

WORLDWIDE MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER

A marriage enrichment program for couples involving overnight retreats and get togethers with other couples to  provide support and to strengthen your marriage .

FAMILIA

A four year program that provides spiritual growth in the Gospels, the encyclicals of Pope John Paul II, and adult catechesis. Participants can join any time throughout the cycle.

ADULT CHRISTIAN FORMATION/BIBLE STUDY

Provides adult formation and educational opportunities through Eucharistic adoration, Bible Studies, adult catechesis and lecture series.
